What does Rate Exports leave out?
The analytics screens. A Rate Exports account downloads every hospital, payer and provider rate it asks for as a CSV file, with every dollar filled. The benchmark, Medicare, simulator and comparison screens come with Market Analytics.
Why does Contract Yield need a Business Associate Agreement?
Your 835 remittances and claims exports carry protected health information, and analyzing them for you is a business associate service under HIPAA. We sign the agreement before we accept a single file. Until then the workspace runs on a sample hospital so your team can learn it. When your files are read we keep claim numbers, codes, dollars, dates, payer, provider, facility and location, and drop patient names, member IDs, birth dates and addresses on the spot.
What do I need to send for Contract Yield?
Three files are enough to start: your 835 remittance files, a submitted-claims export from your billing system, and your current payer fee schedules. Appeals and authorization exports sharpen the denial analysis. Weekly or daily files are best.
How do the 25 free lookups work?
A lookup is one hospital and one code. Each different pair counts once a day; looking at the same one again is free. The count resets every day.
Can I change plans?
